Question:
Choices
Dr. Mark: I have been married for almost 5 years now. When we married, we agreed to have children someday. I suffered a back injury a few years ago and am mostly better now but my wife has suffered an injury as well. I'm the only income producer in the family. The other night, she stated we either have children or get divorced. That was a shock to hear that. I feel that we are not financially or physically ready to have children. I feel that she has emotional problems as well. So I guess I have a choice, to let her control me and have children or live my own life. Please let me know if I'm thinking clearly now, or is this just an indication of an underlying problem of our marriage.

Question:
Bad hygene
My daughter is 8 years old and just recently started having problems with hygene. Example- Not wipeing after having a bowl movement and not flushing. I am concerned that there is a underlining problem. We have been dealing with this problem for a couple weeks and she doesn't seem to care so now she is getting grounded because she continues to repeat the behavier. Am I doing the right thing? We argue daily He and I are both extremely defensive and want to be right. It seems like his friends, family, and work come before me. Question:
Monster In-Law, what to do?
Dr. Mark, I have a real Monster in-law, this one has two faces! I don't know what to do about her, she constantly tries to manipulate and use guilt to keep my husband from leaving her. We own a home in a different city but he works close to his parents home and stays there sometimes so as not to commute. We have been going through a hard time becuase of his infidelity. We have 3 kids and I told him that he needs to spend more time with us. She however, cries to him that she doesn't see him enough. Talk about being selfish, she's not letting my kids have a dad, and she can't let go of him. I want to bring this to her attention but how??
